Operations Manager

As Operations Manager at Burrows you’ll work alongside the Head of Operations to create and maintain business KPIs to sustain optimum productivity levels and meet operating standards and quality control requirements across all studios. You’ll partner with the Head of Operations to lead Burrows into TISAX accreditation, then take the lead as owner for its ongoing compliance requirements and monitoring.

About you:
• You’ll have several years’ experience working in operations management
• Strong analytical capability; track record of digging into data and finding solutions
• Experience of managing small-midsized internal projects
• Experience of creating Power BI dashboards and reports
• Excellent advanced Excel knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication – clear and concise
• Great planning skills – able to stay ahead of the game
• Problem solving – can think around a problem and conventional ways of doing things
• Positive mindset – always looking for ways to improve what we do and who we are
• Team player– needs to be able to collaborate with all levels of the business with confidence

What you’ll do:
• Create and maintain business KPI dashboard using Power BI
• Analyse KPIs and provide insights to Leadership Team, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Own the TISAX industry accreditation and its ongoing compliance
• Own Ford internal application reporting, documenting issues and reporting against SLA metrics
• Execution of internal operation projects such as internal secure studios, satellite office setup, or core infrastructure change
• Work with resource managers to identify periods of under or over utilisation and provide solutions
• Monitor the performance of satellite studios for productivity and capacity
• Lead the Burrows Information Security Management System documentation
• Work with all departments to regularly review their processes and quality control measures
• Work with Client Services for all client support agreements, leading on ensuring continuing adherence to all specified operating and security standards
• Participate in the Quality Management Team for managing process reviews and client complaints

About you:
• You’ll have experience of allocating and planning work for a creative team and trafficking projects for global brands
• You’re a great people person with a positive, calm and confident approach
• Highly organised and efficient, you can quickly get up to speed with internal systems and processes
• You’re a proactive problem solver, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• You’ll need a strong commercial awareness, an understanding of print production processes, and experience of art buying and photographic shoot planning
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel and Project is desirable, along with knowledge of ticketing systems and digital creative requirements
• An interest in creative design and the automotive industry would be a plus

What you’ll do:
• Manage freelance requirements for our studios, including bookings, performance reviews and sourcing providers
• Review briefs and plan creative resource, allocating work, monitoring priorities and identifying areas of capacity
• Manage allocation of hours and approval of creative timesheets, as well as holiday and overtime requirements
• Manage creative workflow, including feedback and amends
• Support pitch requirements by allocating the right creative resource
• Commission third-party creative resources such as photographers, photographic studios, production companies, voiceover artists, models and illustrators
• Act as the central owner of all presentation materials for onward use, ensuring guidelines and templates are kept up to date
• Support the Senior Creative Director with any other duties
